Saying Goodbye
August 14th, 7PM
United Baptist Church, Newport, RI
This special service, facilitated by Mariposa International, is designed for anyone who has experienced the loss of a baby—regardless of circumstance, and whether it was recently or many years ago. Loss at any stage is traumatic. Early loss is often not acknowledged or discussed, with commemorative services seldom taking place. Services for babies who are stillborn or lost in early years, are usually conducted while parents are in a fog of grief and pain. This service will give you the opportunity to stand with other people ‘who know’ the pain of losing a child, and offer a time to publicly acknowledge and remember children who have been lost.

Prayer in the History of Revival Course
September 12 - October 17 (Fridays)
Class meets on Zoom
Whenever revival has occurred throughout history, fervent prayer has always been at the heart of the movement. This course will survey key revivals from the First Great Awakening in the 1730’s to the present, exploring the role of prayer in each chapter of this intriguing and compelling story. In addition, this course will survey the theological foundation of prayer in revival. Following this course, participants will have deeper insight into how prayer infuses revival history and will be inspired to join in the work that God is doing today in global prayer.

Encounter Weekend
October 16th - 18th
The Haven
An Encounter Weekend, at its core, is all about bringing each believer into a renewed relationship with the living God. It is a catalytic weekend, designed to bring the things which separate us from receiving the love and freedom of the Father to Jesus at the Cross, setting us free by the power of the Holy Spirit, and releasing us into a completely new identity as sons and daughters of God.

A Night to Honor Israel
October 25th, 5PM
Mishkahn David Messianic Synagogue, North Smithfield, RI
An evening for Christians to stand in solidarity with the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. Together, we will lift prayers for Israel and affirm our shared belief in God’s enduring promises to the Jewish people. This gathering is for Christians to prayerfully agree that the return of the Jewish people to their ancestral land is a prophetic fulfillment worthy of our support and joy.
In a time when antisemitism is rising across the globe, this night offers Christians a meaningful opportunity to stand with the Jewish people—demonstrating the love of Jesus through support, compassion, and solidarity. Just as Ruth said to Naomi, “Where you go, I will go. Your people will be my people, and your God, my God.”
If you are a pastor with a heart for Israel and would like to share a brief word or prayer during the event, please contact us—we would be honored to include you.
All are welcome for this powerful time of unity, worship, and recognition of Israel as God’s covenant gift to the Jewish people.
